As CEO of Orthopaedic Implant Company, he is driving a mission to democratize access to world-class orthopaedic solutions by leveraging innovations in advanced manufacturing and precision engineering. With a strong belief that cost should never be a barrier to quality care, Shri is focused on building a scalable, tech-enabled infrastructure that reduces production costs while ensuring rigorous clinical and regulatory standards. His global vision is rooted in the conviction that cutting-edge healthcare solutions must be both accessibleand sustainable—no matter where a patient lives.

Shri led an advanced technology group at Applied Materials (NASDAQ: AMAT), reporting directly to the Office of the CTO, before starting Zeda. Prior to his time at Applied Materials, he was Vice President at Ultratech (NASDAQ: UTEK). He brings extensive expertise from the semiconductor industry and advanced additive manufacturing.

Shri joined Ultratech at a crucial part of its growth in 2006, which was acquired by Veeco Instruments Inc. on May 26, 2017, for a transaction valued at around $815 million.

In his role at AMAT, Shri has developed short-term and long-term strategies for market and product development, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and industry trends. He is adept at managing strategic external relationships, collaborating with joint development partners, new customers, suppliers, and government agencies to foster innovation and growth. Shri's expertise includes assessing market viability and developing business plans for new technologies in partnership with the CTO Advanced Technology Group.

Shri's forward-thinking approach also involves exploring new white space opportunities for the corporation, continually seeking avenues for expansion and innovation. His ability to navigate complex markets and develop robust business strategies makes him an invaluable asset in driving new business development and ensuring the long-term success of his organization.

Kishore Karkera

Kishore spent over a decade with Apple, Inc (NASDAQ: APPL). spearheading the Production Support group in iTunes Operations, building its processes from the ground up. He also headed Operations groups within Apple Maps and App Store. He drove multiple Compliance, Digital transformation and Infrastructure implementation projects for various clients while at KPMG. He brings a unique blend of Technical, Operational and Leadership skills to OIC.

Geoffrey is a seasoned entrepreneur and strategic advisor with deep experience at the intersection of technology, healthcare, and innovation-driven growth.

Geoffrey holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manchester and an MBA from Manchester Business School. He is also a graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, where he was commissioned into the Royal Engineers. After spending a decade in venture capital investing in the UK, Geoffrey relocated to Silicon Valley, where he focused on supporting startups in the Additive Manufacturing sector, focusing on healthcare application. He later joined Jabil Inc. (NYSE: JBL), where he led the company’s Additive Manufacturing strategy for healthcare, combining his technical expertise with strategic leadership in advanced manufacturing.

Dr. Alan Dang is a board-certified, licensed orthopaedic spine surgeon. He is an Assistant Professor in Residence at UCSF. Along with his brother, Dr. Alexis Dang, he started the Orthopaedic Rapid Intelligent Fabrication (ORIF) program at UCSF/San Francisco VA and is a founding member of the UCSF Center for Applied 3D+ Technologies.

Prasad has spent 24 years in Cisco Systems (Director) and brings a strong foundation in Services, Customer Experience and Product Management. Holds an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix and multiple certifications in compliance, operations and governance. Spearheading India operations for orthopaedic implant devices. Establishing local compliance frameworks aligned with ISO 13485:2016. Responsible for quality management, labelling compliance and documentation review (DMF, PMF). Acting as qualified person to ensure conformity of imported devices with regulatory and quality requirements.

Brad brings a deep engineering background in medical device design, holding 18 patents across orthopedic and medical device domains — including surgical instrumentation and implant systems for spinal fusion and reconstruction, as well as knee arthroplasty and porous metal bone augmentation technology, spanning work with established industry leaders such as Zimmer Biomet as well as early-stage startup ventures. He combines this technical foundation with regulatory strategy expertise (FDA 510(k), ISO 13485) and additive manufacturing experience, currently serving in an executive capacity supporting medical device companies as they bring new products to market. Brad is driven to explore new applications of technology that benefit patients and the broader medical community.

Todd Martens

Todd joined OIC in 2015 and is the lead architect of device design, always ensuring that OIC products exceed customer expectations.

Todd’s primary responsibility at OIC is spearheading the design and development of our implants and associated instrumentation. Todd has 25 years of orthopaedic device design experience across the full spectrum of orthopaedic disciplines, with a particular focus and penchant for trauma. His unique background combines engineering and sales management, giving him incredible insight into the bridge between successful implant design and utility.

Todd received a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Colorado State University and a biomedical engineering Master’s degree from The University of California, Davis.

Todd’s passion for helping people goes beyond the office and is evident in the personal time he and his wife dedicate as weekend volunteers on a mountain search and rescue team in their home state of Colorado. In their spare time, Todd and his wife enjoy all the activities mountain-living affords like trail running, mountain and snow biking.

At Varian Medical Systems, he held full P&L responsibility for a $500 million medical devices and services business across the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East, Africa, and Bangladesh. He led Annual Operating Plans and Five-Year Strategic Plans while co-developing a business profitability model that shaped the company's go-to-market strategy across these regions.

Throughout his career, Alankar has built a strong reputation for establishing robust financial controls and governance frameworks, streamlining business intelligence for automated reporting, and delivering data-driven insights that enable strategic decision-making. His expertise spans budgeting and forecasting, scenario modelling, cost optimisation, and cross-functional collaboration with C-suite leadership.
Alankar holds an MBA in Finance and Financial Markets & Investments from Aberystwyth University, Wales, and is currently pursuing the CFA qualification to further strengthen his expertise in financial analysis and strategic investment.
